Koko Home is seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Clinical Specialist to join our passionate team. This part-time/consulting role is ideal for an associate or nurse with experience writing clinical care plans and understands the intricacies of senior care, remote monitoring technology and chronic disease management. This role will work closely with our Product Lead to ensure our solutions are clinically sound and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and write comprehensive clinical care plans, tailored to meet the needs of home care and senior living environments.
  • Provide expert input on chronic disease management, ensuring that care plans are effective and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the Product Lead to integrate clinical insights into our healthcare technology solutions.
  • Offer guidance on home care and senior living pathways to ensure our products align with industry best practices and patient needs.
  • Stay current with trends in home care, senior living, and chronic disease management to inform care plan development and product features.
  • Assist in refining and adjusting clinical protocols, ensuring they meet regulatory standards and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Support cross-functional teams with clinical expertise to ensure the accuracy and relevance of our product offerings.
  • Provide training and education to internal teams on clinical aspects of our products, as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Nurse (RN, LPN, or equivalent) with experience in clinical care planning and chronic disease management is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of senior care.
  • Strong understanding of remote monitoring technologies.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and practical clinical care plans.
  • Ability to work part-time with flexibility and support the Product Lead in a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in healthcare technology is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and an acute attention to detail.
  • A passion for improving care for seniors and individuals managing chronic conditions.

Hours:

  • Part-time/consultancy (5-10 hours/wk)
  • Hybrid/remote
  • Located in California preferred (San Jose/Menlo Park/Brentwood/Santa Monica)
