We are Cast, makers of artfully designed fine jewelry. We are reimagining the experience of shopping and collecting fine jewelry, with a warm, inviting, and explorative journey that’s as inspiring and empowering as the jewelry itself. With a sense of discovery at our core, we are constantly creating. In collaboration with an ever-evolving, female-focused collective of the world’s most inventive jewelry designers, we create collections unlike any other. Our uniquely timeless aesthetic celebrates sculptural, geometric forms and always has a story to tell. With the magic of storytelling and wonderment, we celebrate our designers and bring our collections to life. Cast is seeking exceptional Stylists for our stores in the South Bay (Palo Alto and San Jose).

Cast was founded in San Francisco by two friends that wanted to make the experience of discovering and shopping fine jewelry as delightful as wearing it. Founder Rachel Skelly is a seasoned entrepreneur who loves to enter established categories and shake things up. Vitamins and baby food were modernized and transformed with the introduction of Olly and Plum Organics. Rachel is now applying her brand making magic and deep passion for product creation and artistry, to the jewelry category. In support of her vision, Cast is backed by our founding investor Eric Ryan, a successful three-time founder (Method, Olly and Welly) who now focuses on advising, coaching and investing in the next wave of brand creators and industry disruptors. Also backing the Cast vision is True Ventures, a leader in the consumer venture space with an investment portfolio that includes Peloton, Madison Reed, Hodinkee, and Blue Bottle.

This is an amazing and rare opportunity to join a small but mighty team of creative, dedicated pros and build something sparkly, coveted and successful from the ground up. Planned store openings will create additional career opportunities at new stores and Cast HQ over the next several years.

Cast Stylists want more than the typical sales associate role and work in a highly collaborative way across our entire team to assist with the operations of our first boutique as we reimagine the experience of buying fine jewelry. Traditionally, purchasing fine jewelry can be daunting and intimidating. Cast will change that by offering an industry-changing approach to selling fine jewelry with hospitality, warmth, inclusivity, and approachable, exceptional service. You will play a pivotal role in helping Cast Store Management to establish the culture of Cast at retail. With a focus on warmth and hospitality first, you will be key in enabling an empowering and explorative experience for every client. As part of an exceptional Boutique Crew, you will be critical to delivering the welcoming client experience of the Cast Boutique. You understand the importance of our unique, optimistic culture to ensure the welcoming vibe of Cast shines through for every Cast client. Your insights and experiences will drive the evolution of effective operating procedures and shape the planned expansion of Cast Boutiques. You are optimistic, and passionate about delivering exceptional levels of distinctive customer service and clienteling, driving sales, continually increasing your education of Cast jewelry, communicating insightful feedback to HQ, striving for consistency, and achieving store KPIs. You love and appreciate the craftsmanship of fine jewelry and are passionate about thoughtful ways to assist clients with their experience. You are a role model, and a team player. You understand the importance of your input and feedback in this startup stage, and you communicate it thoughtfully with an awareness of the impact on future Cast Boutiques.

Benefits include medical and dental insurance, employee discount and incentive plan, and paid parental leave, holidays and time off.
