In this role you will work on leading & executing local marketing efforts for our Santa Teresa Home.Responsibilities range from actively participating in the planning & execution of marketing strategies oriented towards increasing awareness, driving revenue (both hotel and outlets), and improving communication in general to managing partnerships, coordinating content creation initiatives at the property & ensuring our customer facing channels across the board are aligned.Also, responsible to ensure the generation of Sales, Operation and Successful Administration of the Groups and Events segment, in terms of service, revenue, costs, management and achievement of the general departmental objectives, of the Property and Company in general. He supports the Operational Areas of the hotel, as well as is responsible for the generation of Revenue assigned by General Management in collaboration with the Corporate Sales Management.
Responsibilities
- Executes and leads the BEO Review Board with Operations.
- Executes and leads Pre-Convention Meetings.
- Executes and leads the Post Convention Meetings.
- Achievement of quotas established in budgets / forecasts.
- Responsible for the Forecast of the Groups and Events segment (Rents, Food and Beverages, A/V) and Other Group Income and Definitive Events.
- Supervises the preparation of group agendas and Site Inspection of groups prospect, tentative and definitive, correspondence, reports, etc.
- Ensures anticipation of group requirements and site inspections
- Prospect, tentative and definitive groups.
- Ensures the needs of both group customers and site inspections, which must be covered before, during and after your stay by group coordinators.
- Monitors the link between Meeting Planners, Groups clients, and Site Inspections of the Group with the rest of the Areas involved in the hotel.
- Monitors the update of the file or chart of groups and events, blocking rooms and rates of definitive groups, tentative and prospect, assemblies, menus, drinks, etc. by the Group Coordinators.
- Supervises the contracting and payment processing of external suppliers.
- Supervises that all information and needs received by customers is to the hotel via e-mail by regular mail, BEOs, Group Instructions and Site Inspection Reports in time by the Coordinators of Groups.
- Supervises group cut off dates and that reservations are entered correctly in the system.
- Oversees the creation of menus, assemblies and special events according to Customer specifications.
- Oversees the creation of Floor Plans for approval of clients of events.
- Supervises the Obtaining of guarantees for Food and Beverages of groups and that Any changes are notified to the affected areas immediately.
- Monitors that group deposits arrive full and on time according to contract until before the arrival of the group.
- Responsible for the day-to-day of the Groups and Events segment.
- Assists the General Manager and Sales Director for budget purposes and forecast.
- Follow up on any special requests made by the General Manager.
- Follow up on guest reviews.
- Maintains up-to-date information regarding the competition.
- Update Banquet catalog in conjunction with the F&B Manager and Chef Executive, gives feedback on prices.
- Works hand in hand with the Sales department regarding concessions, Site Inspections, Fam trips and VIP deals.
- Supervises that the general internal procedures of the hotel are covered based on procedures and standards.
- It is ensured that an ideal working environment based on respect for the Sales, Groups and Events segment.
- Prepares and updates the Procedure Manual of the Groups segment and Events.
- Gives feedback on the maintenance of Rooms and Event Areas together with the Manager of F&B and Maintenance.
- Prepares Occupancy Reports and Scheduled Events with departments Involved.
- Conducts internal audits periodically.

- Follow to the letter image of our family in reference to the attention to the client and management of equipment and systems according to company standards.

- Attend departmental briefings.
- Will virtually attend meetings convened by the Commercial Team Corporate via conference with Head of Sales, Head of Revenue Management and Head of Operations.
- Proactively participate in planning & lead execution of local marketing strategies, maintaining a feel for the property needs by staying in contact with department heads on-site and adjusting as necessary.
- Coordinate content creation efforts, ensuring the efficiency of the process and a resulting product that aligns with property needs.
- Build and maintain relationships with key content creators, providers and partners in order to execute on deliverables and maximize resources.
- Supervise our property’s social channels, including but not limited to Instagram & Facebook.
- Manage and propose collaborations with local impactful talent that aligns with our brand and helps to further develop our message across Mexico.
- Ensure our message & content remains consistent, relevant and attractive throughout our customer facing channels, including but not limited to our website, Tripadvisor, Google My Business & OTAs.
- Maintain a feel for the properties through department heads on property to ensure all content and messaging aligns with property objectives and helps drive them.
- Capture content and coordinate production of photo and video content of relevant on-site events or happenings when required.
- Source and envision attractive story angles surrounding our homes that align with our brand and capitalize on them.
- Identify local insights and new opportunities to drive property bookings.
- University Degree in Hospitality, Tourism or Business Administration
- 3 years of experience in the position or similar
- Experience in Sales, Marketing, Banquets, Food and Beverage and Quarters Division.
- Good understanding of the management of Groups and Events in the Luxury sector
- Knowledge of the American, Mexican and International Market.
- Knowledge in: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. PMS.
- Ability to learn new programs with minimal training.
- Experience in managing activities and circumstances at the same time
- English language proficiency. Third language will be valued
