About The RoleThe Hotel Accounting and Financial Management position is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and accounting. Responsibilities
  • Overseeing the financial operations of the hotel, including budgeting, forecasting, and accounting.
  • Working closely with the hotel management team to ensure that the financial goals of the hotel are met.
  • Preparing financial reports for the hotel management team and ownership.
  • Reviewing and analysing financial statements.
  • Identifying trends and areas for improvement.
  • Developing and implementing financial plans and strategies.
  • Ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
  • Reviewing and approving hotel financial statements.
  • Ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions.
  • Identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Requirements
  • Experience working in Hospitality, 1-2 years in similar roles
  • Degree qualified for Financial Management work
  • Competent in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products essential, especially Microsoft Excel
  • Working knowledge of Netsuite Financial Accounting package beneficial
  • Strong analytical and accounting skills
  • Good verbal, written communication & interpersonal skills
  • Strong command of English language for verbal and written communication essential
  • Effective Team Player
  • Self-motivated, well organized & meticulous person, with an eye for details
  • Must be able to adhere strictly to deadlines
