ü Leading recruitment social media campaigns.
ü Establishes and maintains contact with external recruitment sources when necessary
ü Issuing of job offers and employment contracts in a timely manner.
ü Provide assistance, guidance and counseling to the General Manager, management staff and line team members in order to maximize the quality and professionalism of the hotel staff.
ü Ensure that all HR documentation and employees’ files are up to date and in line with employment law
ü Attends job fairs and ensures documentation of outreach efforts in accordance with Human Resource Standard Operating Procedures.
ü Oversees and monitors candidate identification and selection process.
ü Monitor staffing according to the business needs and manage the payroll costs.
ü Ensure staffing is in accordance with the hotel ’ s guidelines.
ü Providing leadership, direction, and guidance in all areas of the human resource.
ü Supports a departmental orientation program for employees to receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
ü Ensures employees are cross trained to support successful daily operations.
ü Uses all available on the job training tools for employees; supervises on-going training initiatives and conducts training, when appropriate.
ü Ensures coordination and facilitation of new hire orientation programs to generate a positive first impression for employees and emphasize the importance of guest service in Habitas culture.
ü Ensures attendance by all new hires and participation of the leadership team in training programs
ü Collaborates with the management team to ensure departmental orientation processes are in place and employees receive the appropriate new hire training to successfully perform their job.
ü Assists in maintaining effective employee communication channels (e.g., develops daily communications and assists with regularly scheduled company-wide meetings).
ü Reviews progressive discipline documentation for accuracy and consistency, and checks for supportive documentation and is accountable for determining appropriate action.
ü Utilizes an “open door” policy to acknowledge employee problems or concerns in a timely manner.
ü Communicates performance expectations in accordance with job descriptions for each position.
ü Ensure other department heads (HOD's) are familiar with the HR policies and procedures for their respective departments.
ü Assist with planning, coordinating, and executing hotel social activities, employee activities and events.
ü Coordinate and oversee all matters related to staff accommodation, facilities, and transportation
ü Promote a positive team culture and healthy work environment that ensuring our colleagues deliver their best outcome.
ü Develops and maintains confidential departmental staff and associated files, documents, pay scale details and/or other important databases.
ü Ensures employee files contain required employment paperwork, proper performance management and compensation documentation, are properly maintained and secured for the required length of time.
ü Ensures compliance with procedure for accessing, reviewing, and auditing employee files.
ü Communicates Habitas Al Ula rules and regulations via the employee handbook.
ü Ensures all safety and security policies (e.g., property removal, lost and found items, accident reporting, and hygiene) are communicated to employees on a regular basis through orientation, property meetings, bulletin boards, etc.
ü Represents Human Resources at the Habitas Al Ula: helps to identify ways to create awareness of the importance of safety in the workplace and decrease accident frequency and severity.
ü Oversees the selection/ non-selection and offers processes to ensure proper procedures
ü are followed (e.g., valid reasons for selection/ non-selection and applicants receive status notifications).
