About The Role

As a Chef De Partie at Habitas, you form the backbone of the kitchen. Directly supporting the Executive and Sous Chefs you'll be responsible for a variety of tasks around the kitchen. You'll be directly contributing to the soul of our company - our food

What You'll Be Doing

  • Actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions to improve the environment and menus
  • Ensure the consistency in the preparation of all food items for a la carte and/or buffet menus according to property recipes and standards
  • Communicate effectively with the rest of the team and thrive for guest feedback
  • Maintaining of cleanliness in all assigned areas, including refrigerators, freezers, and work table tops.
  • Makes out time schedules and annual leaves in cooperation with the Senior Sous Chef for approval by the Executive Chef.
  • Ensures adequate supply of raw materials by checking stock levels daily and preparing details for requisitions of supplies in cooperation of the Senior Sous Chef for the Executive Chef’s approval.
  • Ensures that all machines, furniture, equipment and utensils are in working condition at all times and that the section assigned is always clean and in a safe condition to prevent accidents.
  • Ensure that the section he is assigned to operates smoothly and the budgeted targets are achieved during his absence.
  • Performs duties common to all supervisors and the duties as maybe assigned by the Executive Chef

  • 3,400 Qatari Riyal monthly

What You'll Need

  • Experience working in a hotel or restaurant/commercial kitchen
  • Experience with a wide range of cuisines
  • Experience as Cook A
