About Us

Icarus Robotics is building the robotic workforce for space industrialization. We're developing dexterous robots that can be teleoperated from Earth to automate routine tasks inside space stations, dramatically reducing operational costs, increasing throughput and unlocking the astronaut labor bottleneck.

We've raised over $12M in capital from top-tier investors in deep tech and space, we're rapidly expanding our team and accelerating our development timeline. Our engineers work directly with NASA and collaborate with some of the largest aerospace companies on next-generation space technologies. We've secured partnerships with commercial LEO destination companies who will host our robots on future space stations, creating a clear path to orbit for our technology. We're now preparing for our first ISS test mission — a key step toward full orbital deployment.

We believe in an industrialized low-Earth orbit this decade and we’re making it happen.

Don't see the right role? Tell us what we're missing.

We don't expect every great hire at Icarus to fit neatly into a job description.

If you're exceptional at what you do, excited by what we're building, and believe you can make a meaningful contribution to Icarus — we want to hear from you.

This is an open application, not a role with a predefined title or scope. You might work in robotics, mechanical or electrical engineering, software, autonomy, manufacturing, test, operations, business development, design, communications — or something we haven't thought to hire for yet.

What matters is that you can make a compelling case for where you would add value.

Tell us what your role should be.

We want to know:

  • What are you exceptionally good at?

  • What would you want to own, build, or solve at Icarus?

  • Why Icarus?

  • What have you built, shipped, sold, led, researched, or accomplished that shows us what you're capable of?

Show us your work wherever possible — projects, hardware, software, research, writing, designs, companies you've built, things you've sold, or anything else that demonstrates what you can do.

We're not looking for a generic cover letter. Be specific about where you think you can have an outsized impact.

If there's a strong fit, we don't need to wait for the perfect job title to exist.
