We are in need of a motivated and high agency product manager to join the Product team to empower businesses with flexible and accessible credit solutions. As we expand our offerings, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Product Manager to lead our credit strategy for Jeeves Credit Underwriting. This role will focus on working within each phase of the credit product to build features that drive customer delight and maximize conversion, engagement and retention while maintaining targeted delinquency rates.

Location: This role is open to full-time remote work or an option to be based out of Mexico City, Mexico, as a hybrid position where there is an opportunity to come into our office in Roma Norte.

Job Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement a comprehensive credit strategy aligned with business goals and market dynamics
• Risk Assessment: Evaluate the creditworthiness of businesses by analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant data sources
• Continuous Product Development: Continuously refine and optimize credit processes to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and potential risks
• Performance Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of strategies deployed and make data-driven decisions
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain open channels with key Jeeves stakeholders. Articulate findings, share pivotal updates, and ensure the broader team is always in the loop
  
  
  

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management focused primarily on credit and underwriting (minimum of 3 years focused specifically on lending to medium size and enterprise businesses in Mexico or Brazil)
• Extensive knowledge of third party data sources in Mexico or Brazil to improve underwriting effectiveness or efficiency as well as proficiency in integrating these solutions
• Extensive knowledge of credit solutions available for medium size and enterprise businesses in Mexico and Brazil
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to business lending and credit underwriting
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and make informed decisions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders

• Willing to work across global time zones, including 10% travel
