We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing accounts payable processes, strong analytical skills, and a keen attention to detail. This role will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices, managing vendor relationships, and supporting month-end close processes. The Senior Accounts Payable Analyst will also play a key role in process improvement initiatives and system enhancements.

Location: This role is based out of Mexico City, Mexico, and is a full-time hybrid position where it is required to come into our office in Roma Norte.

Job Responsibilities

  • AP and Expenses Management: Invoice Processing, vendor management, record keeping, tracking payments, process improvement, partnership with P&F team to provide information.
  • Month-End Close: Work with the team on the month-end close - manage the processes from start to end, ensure accuracy of the company’s financial reporting and provide detail for analysis expenses
  • Compliance and Reporting: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures., Maintain accurate historical records. Prepare and file various tax forms and reports as needed
  • Process Improvement: Identify and implement processes to increase efficiency and accuracy. Assist in the development and implementation of new systems and procedures
  • Collaborate with the product team in developing features to improve the functionality of Jeeves’s product
  • Collaborate with externals providing information.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role
  • Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel
  • Deep understanding of accounts payable functions and procedures
  • Experience with process improvement and system implementation projects
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
