As one of the front-end engineers at Karbon, you will play a crucial role in building the products to solve 

interesting problems related to payments for companies in India.

What You'll Do

• Involved in the design and development of an upcoming product. 

• Determining the structure and design of web pages. 

• Ensuring user experience determines design choices.

• Build the front end of our web product using a variety of tech stacks - React.js, JavaScript, CSS, HTML 

etc.

• Implement the best security features and build quick response scalable web products.

• Work with product and business teams to incorporate customer feedback in order to constantly 

improve product.

• Continuously increase your ownership and deepen your expertise in both product and platform areas.

• Hire and inspire younger engineers.

• Continuously improve our engineering processes, tools, and systems that allow us to scale the code 

base, productivity, and the team

• Own functionality and scalability features by taking responsibility from inception to deployment.

• Building reusable code for future use

• Optimizing web pages for maximum speed and scalability.

• Maintaining brand consistency throughout the design.

What You'll Need

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in front end development

• Good knowledge in JavaScript (Vanilla, ES6), HTML, CSS, React JS and Typescript

• Good knowledge in CSS pre-processors like Sass, Less and CSS frameworks Bootstrap, Material UI or 

Ant Design

• Experience with state management like Recoil, Redux

• Good to have Figma, Webpack, unit testing using Jest or Cypress

• Track record of shipping high-quality products and features at scale

• Desire to work in a fast-paced environment, continuously grow, and master your craft.

• Prior experience in building consumer-facing products

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in Fintech/BFSI industry

• Passion for, or curiosity to learn, financial technology.

• Strong writing skills

• Understanding of relational databases and SQL
