Through automated note-taking, coding, and order entry physicians can save 2+ hours a day on admin work and get properly reimbursed. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) focused on new contact outreach, you will be responsible for engaging physicians and office managers to generate and qualify leads for our company's products and services. You are organized and can work on your own to build lead lists and take outreach steps. You enjoy new challenges and can create messaging that will highlight the value proposition of Knowtex.
Position Overview:
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) will play a key role in driving Knowtex's growth by building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified leads. The role focuses on generating new business opportunities within the orthopedic, oncology, and plastic surgery sectors by building lead lists and reaching out to prospective clients, including physicians and practice managers. The SDR will manage email campaigns, conduct phone outreach, and leverage social media platforms, primarily LinkedIn, to raise brand awareness and engage with decision-makers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation:
- Research and build lead lists for target markets, focusing on orthopedic surgeons, oncologists, plastic surgeons, and their practice managers.
- Use tools like Apollo.io, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and Knowlegenet.ai to identify new leads and contacts.
- Email Campaigns:
- Design and execute personalized email campaigns to engage prospective clients and create interest in Knowtex’s offerings.
- Monitor and track email engagement metrics to optimize campaign performance and follow-up strategies.
- Phone Outreach:
- Conduct cold calls to follow up on email campaigns and introduce Knowtex’s services.
- Qualify leads through BANT (Budget, Authority, Need, Timeline) criteria to move them through the sales funnel.
- Social Media Engagement:
- Utilize LinkedIn for outreach and connection requests with target contacts, creating awareness and driving interest.
- Share relevant content to educate and engage the target audience, positioning Knowtex as a thought leader in the Orthopedic and Oncology space.
- Pipeline Management:
- Track outreach efforts and progress using HubSpot, ensuring that all prospect interactions are logged and follow-up actions are scheduled.
- Collaborate closely with the national Account Executive to ensure alignment of messaging and outreach strategies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, preferred but not required.
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar SDR or sales role, preferably in the healthcare or medical device industry.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency with sales and lead generation tools such as Apollo.io, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email campaign platforms.
- Experience using CRM software to track leads and manage the sales pipeline.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven attitude and a passion for building new business relationships.
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the healthcare or medical field is preferred, but not required.
- Understanding of social media strategies, particularly on LinkedIn.
