Role Description

Key qualification: The ideal candidate is a highly skilled and technology-minded Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with extensive experience in psychiatric settings, working with psychiatric patients, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and psychiatrists.

As Legion Health's Founding Clinical Operations Lead, your primary mission is to support and enhance our patient operations and clinical operations, playing a crucial role in building the future of psychiatric care with us.

Responsibilities

Clinical Operations

Engagement and Culture

  • Streamline and implement onboarding and training processes for psychiatric providers.
  • Provide ongoing support for clinical questions from new providers.
  • Foster a supportive and engaging remote environment for collaboration, growth, and satisfaction.
  • Promote timely completion of Continuing Education (CE) requirements.
  • Organize clinician summits and engagement activities to build a collaborative culture.
  • Supervise provider performance and maintain high standards of care.

Operational Efficiency

  • Conduct regular audits and provide feedback to ensure adherence to evidence-based care and charting/coding policies.
  • Optimize operations for seamless collaboration with non-Legion Health mental health providers (like therapists).
  • Design and implement prescription support systems, including cultural and payment processes.

Compliance and HR

  • Manage relationships between clinicians and collaborating physicians.
  • Streamline processes for addressing performance issues and grievances.

Patient Care

Crisis and Case Management

  • Develop and manage discharge planning and outbound referral processes.
  • Establish robust relationships with external healthcare providers for patient referrals when necessary.
  • Create and support crisis management protocols and emergency handling procedures.
  • Handle emergency patient sessions directly as needed.

Patient Interaction and Support

  • Promote strong, supportive relationships between providers and patients, fostering a patient-centric culture.
  • Develop standard protocols for patient encounters to enhance therapeutic alliances.
  • Address patient support inquiries related to clinical matters to ensure satisfaction.
