Summary

The Director Quality & Continuous Improvement will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's quality management system and continuous improvement initiatives. The role involves leading a team of quality and process improvement professionals to ensure that the organization's products and services meet or exceed customer expectations, and that the company's processes and procedures are continually improved to maximize efficiency and reduce waste.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive quality management system that complies with industry standards, regulations, and customer requirements.
• Oversee the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives, including Kaizen to improve processes, reduce waste, and increase efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify improvement opportunities, implement solutions, and monitor progress towards goals.
• Establish and maintain key performance indicators to track and report on the effectiveness of the quality management system and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to the quality and continuous improvement teams, including training and development opportunities to promote professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that quality requirements are met throughout the value journey, from design and development, and delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, partners, and regulatory bodies, to ensure that quality requirements are met and exceeded.
• Lead internal and external quality audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality management and continuous improvement, and proactively identify opportunities for improvement within the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management and continuous improvement, preferably in a leadership role.
• Experience with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies and their application to process improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, develop and implement strategies, and achieve results.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify improvement opportunities and develop and implement effective solutions.
• Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
