marketfeed is a Y Combinator-funded seed-stage startup founded by Sharique Samsudheen & Sooraj E in 2020. With million+ followers on social media and over 2 lakh app users, we are onboarding an average of about 2k+ new clients monthly. Our users have invested 130+Cr using marketfeed.

A strong team of 50+ people, our mission is to make trading possible and profitable for everyone, irrespective of their experience level!

We follow an agile way of working across the company. This role requires you to work closely with leadership and the product team, helping them make data-driven decisions.

As the first marketfeed analyst, you will be working on-

• Defining & monitoring KPIs for any product/feature releases by working with co-founders, engineers & business teams.
• Generating ideas for exploratory analysis to shape future features/products and provide recommendations.
• Owning the analytics events captured by marketfeed and understanding the data infrastructure to ensure scalability.
  
  

🎯 We’d love to have you if:

• You have 0- 2 years of product analytics experience, preferably in an early-stage startup.
• You are comfortable working with smaller data sets to figure out what's happening.
• You understand that early-stage startups are likely to change direction & process every quarter, which results in chaos once in a while.
• You have good knowledge & experience with Excel, and SQL/Python/other querying languages
• You are good at being responsible for planning your work and don't expect a manager to do that for you.
• You enjoy learning trading from experts for free while developing a life skill for passive income.

💬 Interviewing with us - Hiring Process

While the process may differ for different roles, the basics apply to most positions we hire.

Here are some of the ways we assess candidates in our hiring process:

• Short virtual chats: Before diving into more in-depth interviews, you’ll typically have one or two shorter conversations over the phone or via video. These will usually be with a recruiter and then with either the hiring manager or peer on the team and are designed to assess critical skills you’ll need for the role.
• Assessments: You may be asked to do a brief online assessment, like a coding quiz or provide coding samples after you’ve cleared the round with the peer on the team, which helps us understand how you think and approach problems. We’ll inform you about any additional materials we need early on.
• Interviews: Based on the role of your job level, our process can be rigorous (typically 3-4 interviews either over video or in person). However, we also try to keep it friendly and warm and allow you to get to know us better.
