  • Creating high-quality, full-length articles on personal finance, financial markets, and economic policies for our website (
  • Research financial content relevant to our brand.
  • Fact-checking and proofreading content provided.
  • Finding good topics for the YouTube team to work on.
  • Adding value to the content team.

💬 Hiring Process

While the process may differ for different roles, the basics apply to most positions we hire.

Here are some of the ways we assess candidates in our hiring process:
  • Short virtual chats: Before diving into more in-depth interviews, you’ll typically have one or two shorter conversations over the phone or via video. These will usually be with a recruiter and then with either the hiring manager or peer on the team and are designed to assess critical skills you’ll need for the role.
  • Assessments: You may be asked to do a brief online assessment, like submitting an article after you’ve cleared the round with the peer on the team, which helps us understand how you think and approach problems. We’ll inform you about any additional materials we need early on.
  • Interviews: Based on the role of your job level, our process can be rigorous (typically 1-2 interviews either over video or in person). However, we also try to keep it friendly and warm and allow you to get to know us better.
