Key Responsibilities
- Coordination with Vendors:
- Communicate with vendors in the interior design material industry, to ensure the readiness of goods for delivery on a daily basis.
- Verify the accuracy and completeness of the delivery order before arranging transport.
- Transport Arrangements:
- Plan and organize the most efficient and cost-effective transport method for each delivery.
- Coordinate with logistics partners and carriers to schedule timely pickups and deliveries.
- Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and customs clearance are obtained for cross-border deliveries.
- Point of Contact (POC):
- Act as the primary point of contact for all communication related to the delivery process.
- Establish and maintain effective communication channels with the transport team, clients, and vendors.
- Time-Bound Delivery:
- Implement and maintain delivery schedules to ensure on-time deliveries to clients.
- Proactively identify potential delays and implement solutions to meet committed delivery timelines.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough inspections of goods before dispatch to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor and track deliveries in real-time, identifying and addressing any issues or deviations.
- Customer Service:
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and concerns related to deliveries promptly.
- Offer proactive updates to clients regarding the status of their deliveries and expected delivery times.
- Troubleshooting and Problem Resolution:
- Identify and troubleshoot any delivery-related challenges, taking appropriate actions to resolve them efficiently.
- Collaborate with relevant departments and stakeholders to address recurring issues and implement preventive measures.
- Delivery Confirmation:
- Follow up with clients after each delivery to confirm successful receipt of goods.
- Record and maintain delivery confirmation records for future reference and reporting.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Participate in process reviews to suggest and implement improvements in the delivery process.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to enhance the efficiency of delivery operations.
- Reporting and Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation related to each delivery, including receipts, invoices, and delivery notes.
