We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented 'Design Manager' to oversee the design and coordination of our display boards and merchandising processes. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of design principles, a good sense of aesthetics, and experience with graphic design tools and user experience design.

Key Responsibilities

• Display board design & listing consistency:
• Design visually appealing and functional display boards.
• Ensure all display listings are consistent with website content and branding.
• UI/UX & graphic design:
• Apply basic UI/UX principles to create user-friendly designs.
• Work on graphic design projects using tools like Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Aesthetic & design quality control:
• Review and ensure designs meet high aesthetic standards.
• Evaluate typography, layout, and overall design to identify what looks good and what doesn’t.
• Sample coordination & merchandising:
• Collaborate with teams to shortlist samples for display.
• Plan and implement display sizes and formats, including full looks, full sheets, small catalogs, or online-only options.
• Critical design decisions:
• Take ownership of important design-related decisions and ensure alignment with business goals.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
• Adaptability to Business Needs:
• Dedicate 70% of the time to core responsibilities as outlined.
• Be flexible to take on new tasks and projects based on business requirements (30% of the role).
  
  

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software: Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Basic knowledge of UI/UX principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of typography and design aesthetics.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify good and bad design.
• Experience in graphic design, merchandising, and coordination.
