We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our dynamic Finance team. As a key member of our organization, you will report directly to the Corporate Controller and play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day accounting responsibilities and general accounting functions. Collaboration with the entire Finance team will be essential in this position.

What you'll do
- Spearhead and assume responsibility for the daily accounting and financial operations
- Uphold the integrity of the general ledger, aligning it with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Conduct bank account and credit card transaction reconciliations
- Lead monthly and annual closing procedures
- Provide assistance in preparing and delivering financial statements
- Support the integration of new accounting policies and standards
- Monitor and scrutinize financial data to identify opportunities for enhancement
- Aid in ensuring compliance with internal control protocols
- Assist with both internal and external audits and tax inquiries
- Accomplish miscellaneous projects and fulfill special requests as required
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in general accounting within a dynamic or startup environment, showcasing your ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
- Strong knowledge and understanding of general accounting practices and US GAAP
- Proficiency with ERP accounting software, preferably NetSuite
- Fluency in Microsoft Office and Google Drive, leveraging these tools to enhance your work efficiency
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills, allowing you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- High level of adaptability and flexibility to navigate rapidly in changing environments
- Meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy
- A strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining confidentiality
- Intellectual curiosity, proactiveness, and self-motivation to drive continuous improvement
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or a related field, demonstrating your solid foundation in accounting principles
