Nectar (nectarclimate.com, YC S23) helps sustainability and ESG teams collect utility data across global facilities. Traditionally, this process has been time-consuming and inefficient, relying on manual methods like Excel and email to consolidate utility bills each month. Nectar's solution automates this process, providing crucial infrastructure for sustainability teams to understand their energy usage and improve their organizational efficiency.
We’ve raised over $2M and are doubling each quarter in revenue. We’ve built a product that can support 10x our current volume of customers and are searching for our first BizDev hire to join full time in person in SF.
About the role
Help lead our outbound sales motion – everything from generating leads to taking demos to closing clients. Continuously refine the outbound sales playbook, and eventually scale a sales team. Represent customers’ voices in discussions.
Qualifications
- Experience in a Business Development / Account Executive role at a SaaS company.
- Excited to talk to users, understand their pain points and solve them.
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work with less structure / guidance (start selling without a playbook)
