We're looking for:
We are seeking a skilled Contract Graphic Designer to join our team on a freelance basis. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating creative design abilities across various platforms. As a Contract Graphic Designer, you will collaborate with our team to produce visually appealing and effective designs that align with our brand identity and objectives.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Conceptualize and create visually stunning designs for digital and print media, including but not limited to advertisements, social media graphics, brochures, flyers, presentations, and other marketing materials.
- Develop design concepts, graphics, and layouts based on project requirements and brand guidelines.
- Work closely with the team to understand project goals, target audience, and messaging to ensure designs effectively communicate the desired message.
- Execute design projects from conception to completion, ensuring high-quality deliverables within specified deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate revisions into designs as needed.
- Stay updated on industry trends, design techniques, and software advancements to continually improve skills and deliver innovative designs.
- Adhere to project budgets and timelines, communicating any potential issues or delays to the project manager in a timely manner.
- Maintain organized files and assets to facilitate efficient project management and future revisions.
- Provide creative input and contribute to brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and concepts for marketing initiatives.
- Adapt designs for various platforms and formats while maintaining brand consistency and visual integrity.
You have:
- Demonstrated knowledge of layouts, typography, composition, color, and other design fundamentals
- Proficiency with Figma or Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite is a bonus
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment and/or a startup
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Shown you are adept at handling and frequently re-prioritizing a high volume of tasks. You are diligent, thoughtful, and detail-oriented
- An understanding of the importance and need for confidentiality. You can be trusted to keep information in confidence
- The ability to see challenges as opportunities to level up. High-achieving and goal-oriented. A self-starter, you are always able to understand the bigger picture, and take a leading role to impact it
- A collaborative spirit. Ability to quickly and capably provide unfaltering support to team members, oftentimes proactively addressing issues before they become problematic
- A winning mindset and entrepreneurial spirit
- Passion for creative thinking and bold ideas for growing the business/enhancing customer experience. Willing to think outside the box and experiment
- Bonus points:
- Experience in UI/Motion graphics, or interactive UI designs is a plus
- Experience with HTML and CSS coding is a plus
