About the Role:
As a Materials Processing Technician at Noya, your role is central to our groundbreaking initiative to accelerate the world toward carbon negativity. You will be instrumental in developing and optimizing electrical contacts and sorbent material that power our core technology, directly contributing to our innovative carbon capture processes. This position is not just about engineering; it’s about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible to create a sustainable future. Responsibilities:
Help with the development of materials for electrical contacts and for sorbent essential to Noya’s carbon capture technology
Utilize advanced metrology techniques such as scanning electron microscopy (SEM), DC and AC material and device characterization electrical methods, differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) and thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) to evaluate and improve material properties
Apply your expertise in a collaborative environment, working alongside engineers, scientists, and technicians from various disciplines to achieve common goals
Emphasize quality, innovation, and sustainability in all research and development activities, aligning with Noya’s mission towards carbon negativity
Required Experience:
A degree in electrical engineering, materials science, materials engineering, or process engineering
Significant experience in metrology, SEM, TLM, DSC, TGA.
Experience in extrusion, electroplating and metallization
Background and understanding of device testing
A strong foundation in collaborative, multidisciplinary work environments, with the ability to engage effectively across different technical domains
A passion for sustainability and the drive to make a significant impact on the environment

Compensation: $55,000 - $75,000
