As a Risk & Compliance Intern, you will work closely with the Chief Risk and Compliance Officer in ensuring that the risk management & compliance programs are in place and implemented properly.

You will:

Help perform the risk management process from risk identification, risk assessment, risk mitigation, and risk monitoring of all the potential risks that might negatively impact the company’s financial position.
Assist in the rollout and implementation of Risk & Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) and IT Risk Assessment (ITRA).
Assist in compliance functions such as compliance advisory, awareness materials, and compliance testing.
Help provide support and training to employees to create a risk-aware culture.
Perform research about the latest trends in risk management that can be used in the enhancement of the existing risk management program.

You may be fit if:

You are taking up Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or other related courses
You have strong quantitative, analytical and conceptual skills, and data savvy
You have good communication skills and able to speak in front of groups, with the ability to lead meetings and take command of discussions
You possess the ability to work and establish working relationships with different teams
You are well-versed in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint), knowledge in using statistical softwares is an advantage
You have the ability to prioritize assignments and effectively handle multiple tasks and activities on a daily basis
