We are seeking a technically minded and driven Business Development Associate to join our team and contribute to our growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities.
Job Summary: The Business Development Associate will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence by identifying and engaging with potential clients, managing the sales process, and closing deals. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and professional demeanor to effectively sell our complex product to both large corporations and deeply technical startups. The ideal candidate is ambitious, intellectually curious, and capable of leveraging the CEO’s extensive robotics experience to drive sales success.

Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients, including large corporates and technical startups, to generate new business opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic outreach plans to engage with prospective customers and introduce them to our autonomy software solutions.
- Manage the end-to-end sales process, from initial contact to deal closure, ensuring a seamless and professional experience for all stakeholders.
- Utilize the CEO as a resource to support technical discussions and address client inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and product development, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the sales process.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that effectively communicate the value and benefits of our solutions.
- Track and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and key metrics using CRM tools and other sales management systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to identify new opportunities and stay ahead of the market.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field. A technical background is highly preferred. Direct experience with robotics is highly preferred.
- Aptitude for business development, sales, or a similar role, preferably within the technology, robotics, or automation industry.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Professional demeanor with a high level of integrity and business ethics.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
