What We’re Looking For:

At PROVEN, data powers everything we do. As senior data analyst, you’ll join the work force of a fully remote team of data scientists, engineers and cross functional partners including product, growth, marketing, and operations. Your goal is to use data to drive growth, build better product experiences, enable high-quality and more precise business decisions, and drive personalization in a very stale CPG world. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and an ability to work in a dynamic environment. This is a highly visible role that has the opportunity to make a big impact on the business.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and execute data-driven strategies that support DTC marketing, brand, and product development initiatives
  • Analyze customer data to understand buying patterns, preferences, and trends to inform targeted marketing and product strategies
  • Analyze funnel performance, user engagement, conversion, traffic quality, and other marketing KPIs to identify opportunities for customer acquisition and help define our growth strategy
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide insights into customer behavior, campaign performance, and business metrics.
  • Support ad-hoc product questions and evaluate digital product launches via A/B testing
  • Assess new digital product opportunities, work with product managers and engineers to estimate expected impact and ROI of new feature launches
  • Monitor and audit business performance and present this information to stakeholders in live Looker dashboards and other presentations and reports
  • Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal clients and business partners including Digital Product, Finance, Engineer, and Marketing teams
  • Keep abreast of the latest trends and technologies in data analytics and DTC strategies, integrating new tools and methodologies to enhance analytical capabilities.

Who You Are:

  • Expertise in analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R) and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • At least 5 years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence, with a preference for experience in a DTC or eCommerce environment.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
  • Direct experience with Segment, Airflow, Fivetran is a plus
  • Strong understanding of consumer behavior and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to thrive in fast-pace and constantly evolving hyper growth environment
  • Can deal with ambiguity
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Experience with no-sql database is a plus
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
