About The Role

As the product leader owning Ramp's Identity function, you will help define and evolve our end-to-end user management vision, strategy and execution by leading a core team of engineers and designers to create a great experience for companies to manage users, organizational groups and product access. We’re looking for someone who can partner and collaborate across various internal teams, has a deep understanding of our customers and technology, and deliver a user management experience and platform, which internal teams can leverage to manage access to their own products.

  • Please note that this Product Management role will require you to be comfortable with working in-person at our NYC HQ (located near Madison Square Park) at least 2 days/week*

What You’ll Do

  • Own the identity roadmap, focusing on enabling customers to configure and onboard their users, and give those users access to product features
  • Build a platform for and enabling internal teams to quickly leverage granular controls to their product features.
  • Support the API and integrations team to ensure that internal user and group representations both leverage and are consistent with remote representations in identity providers or workforce management products.
  • Be an internal champion for product security and access control.
  • Manage and lead that streamlining of our user management documentation and materials.
  • Leverage data and customer feedback to constantly iterate and evolve product offerings.
  • Contribute to the vision, strategy, and processes that allow Ramp to evolve its user management offering to ever higher levels of excellence.

What You Need

  • BA/BS in a technical or analytical field
  • Minimum of either:
    • 5 years of product management experience
    • 3 years of product management experience and 1+ year of experience as an engineer or data (applied) scientist
  • Experience building products from ideation to launch.
  • Deep understanding and passion for user management and access control systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and influence small teams of engineers towards a common goal
  • Experience evaluating product decisions and prioritization trade-offs, leveraging large datasets to make data-driven product decisions, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders and large cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation

  • The annual salary/OTE range for the target level for this role is $174,250-$205,000 + target equity + benefits (including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k)
