As the VP and Head of Product Design, you will be hiring and growing exceptional talent to build the most respected product design and content design organization in Latin America. You will be leading the team to design products that provide convenience and delight for millions of consumers while improving the livelihood for hundreds of thousands of couriers and businesses.

Alongside Product and Engineering Leadership, you will be responsible for defining the product design vision and strategy, setting standards for design excellence, fostering a culture of innovation, and driving the execution of design projects from concept to delivery.

This is a senior leadership role that requires a combination of creative and strategic thinking, strong leadership skills, and a deep knowledge of design best practices.

Como parte de Rappi, serás responsable de:

• Head the design organization, including: product design and content design.

• Hire outstanding talent, coach best practices, and build the most respected product design and content design organization in Latin America.

• Set aspirational goals and inspire teams to achieve Rappi’s objectives.

• Articulate Rappi’s design vision and foster innovation.

• Drive designs from concept to market success.

• Contribute to company-wide strategic initiatives.

Bien y ahora, ¿Cuáles son los requisitos para que yo sea parte de este universo de neón?

• 8+ years of experience leading high performance design teams at scale.

• Widely respected for both hands on design skills and ability to coach designers

• Strong stakeholder management skills including with C-Level executives.

• Ability to balance strategic thinking and people management with hands-on execution.

• Fluent in English and either Spanish or Portuguese..

• This is a hybrid position in the Americas with preference given to candidates who can regularly work from Rappi's main offices in Buenos Aires, São Paulo, Bogotá, or Mexico City. Globally relocation is available.
