Job Overview:

The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and internal controls. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, as well as providing strategic financial guidance to senior management.

Key Responsibilities:

• day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• and monitor budgets with department managers, build forecasts, and financial plans to support business objectives
• timely and accurate month-end and year-end close processes.
• and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and other financial stakeholders.
• financial analysis and reporting to senior management, including variance analysis and performance metrics.
• and optimize financial processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
• abreast of accounting standards, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
• and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

Qualifications:

• degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; MBA and CPA certification preferred. 7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance roles, with 5 years in a managerial capacity.
• technical accounting skills and knowledge of GAAP principles.
• with financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
• in NET SUITE accounting software and garment ERP systems; experience with [specific software or systems] preferred.
