Remitee, a rapidly expanding international payments Fintech, is seeking a Business Development Director to spearhead our growth in Europe. In this role, you will identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving strategic partnerships to expand our market presence and deepening relationships with current clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop business relationships that allow continued growth and consolidation of the company's position in strategic countries and segments. Deepen relationships with current clients by proposing expansion to new countries, payment channels, and new products.
  • Supervise the end-to-end commercial process to ensure it is simple, fast, and efficient for clients, from the commercial agreement to product launch.
  • Address and resolve client concerns, working on special needs that can offer new business opportunities.
  • Deliver exceptional customer experiences by ensuring efficient and seamless operations. Work closely with the operational support team to maintain high quality standards, drive process innovation, and continuously improve service delivery.
  • Know our competitors and how our value proposition stands out. Consistently work to enhance Remitee’s value proposition, ensuring it remains compelling to our customers to drive market growth.
  • Maintain respectful, serious, and professional communication with clients and business partners to foster healthy relationships and high levels of satisfaction.
  • Become a subject matter expert in the international payments industry, inspiring client confidence.
  • Identify effective strategies to generate high-quality leads via referrals, presentations, LinkedIn, and industry events to fuel our sales pipeline.
  • Maintain strong internal relationships to align teams around our commercial objectives, ensuring we deliver the best possible service to our clients.


Candidate’s Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of relevant work experience in commercial areas, business development or sales in B2B, B2B2C, SaaS companies in the financial industry, payments, software, blockchain, services or alike industries, especially whose clients include banks.
  • Proven track record of successfully negotiating and closing commercial agreements, involving collaboration with diverse teams and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of building relationships and influencing decision-makers across diverse organizational levels to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Highly proactive and results-driven individual who takes ownership of her/his work. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are essential. Must be detail-oriented and able to effectively manage projects and communicate progress to the extended committee.
  • Strong desire to actively contribute to all aspects of Remitee to create a better company for everyone.
