Remitee, rapidly expanding fintech company specializing in international payments is seeking a Product Owner – Direct Payments.

As the Product Owner - Direct Payments, you will play a key role in shaping the product strategy and execution for Remitee’s direct payments solutions. Your mission will be to lead the product lifecycle from conception through to product launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs, and technological advancements. You will bridge various teams across the organization, including Technology, Compliance, Finance, and Sales, ensuring seamless delivery and continuous enhancement of our direct payments product suite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision:
  
  
  

Collaborate with the Direct Payments Director to implement the product vision and roadmap that supports Remitee’s overarching business strategy. Constantly refine this vision based on market trends, customer feedback, and internal priorities.

• End-to-End Product Lifecycle:
  
  
  

Oversee all stages of the product lifecycle, including transactional core, backend, frontend, onboarding, security, risk management, and integrations. Ensure the product is scalable across multiple geographies and product iterations.

• Stakeholder Alignment:
  
  
  

Act as the connector between internal teams (Legal & Compliance, Finance, Technology, Sales, etc.) and external partners, aligning product goals with business objectives to ensure a consistent go-to-market approach.

• Product Development:
  
  
  

Work with development teams to define clear product goals, manage the product backlog, and ensure delivery timelines. Prioritize features based on business value, scalability, and user feedback.

• Customer-Centric Approach:
  
  
  

Champion a consumer-centric product development process by leveraging early customer feedback, market insights, and industry expertise. Continuously improve the product to meet user needs and exceed expectations.

• Agile Management:
  
  
  

Utilize agile methodologies to manage the backlog, prioritize tasks, and drive cross-functional collaboration to achieve product milestones. Ensure successful product launches that deliver incremental value to our customers.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years as a Product Owner, ideally within Fintech, Payments, or related industries.
• Proven experience in end-to-end product delivery, including integrations, risk management, and security
• Experience working with agile frameworks and managing cross-functional teams.
  
  
  

Technical Skills:

• Proven ability to collaborate with development teams, manage product backlogs, and communicate technical and business requirements effectively.
• Familiarity with payment processing systems, financial technologies, and regulatory frameworks.
  
  
  

Business Acumen:

• Visionary with a strategic mindset to align product decisions with business goals.
• Able to pivot quickly based on changing priorities and ensure that product development remains on course.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Highly proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong sense of responsibility for their work. Must possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• Advanced English and Spanish proficiency required.
