About the role

At Rippling, Engineering is at the heart of our business and culture. We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the design system team which is responsible for building core elements for a seamless user experience and consistent look and feel. We follow a well-defined process for designing, building, and documenting components which are accessible and i18n compatible. You will be primarily responsible for building and scaling multiple areas of design system’s. This is a high ownership, impact, and visibility role that will create a step change in Rippling’s growth and technological evolution.

We’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the mobile platform team which is responsible for handling design system, mobile CI/CD and infrastructure. You will be primarily responsible for building and scaling multiple areas of mobile development working closely with the product teams. This is a high ownership, impact, and visibility role that will create a step change in Rippling’s growth and technological evolution.

What you will need

8-12 years experience in mobile engineering roles

2+ years of technical leadership experience
Experience building and scaling early versions of apps
Development expertise in either Android or iOS native platform and React Native
Experience working in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Understands what it takes to make first class software, and is driven to do so
