As designers, you’re responsible for creating these experiences that solve real everyday problems for employees.

The Design Systems team supports a broad set of surfaces, patterns, and interactions across its 30+ products in the market (and more coming). They design the smallest atomic components and micro interactions to the most complex design patterns and building blocks for web and mobile by thinking systemically about how it comes together cohesively across products into an OS for work.

We’re looking for a lead design systems designer who can help build the most comprehensive robust design system in the industry You’re passionate about helping businesses and their employees succeed in their missions by helping them run more effectively, one component at a time.

You will:

• Collaborate with engineers and product designers to define both the long-term strategy and the short-term tactics for new and existing components, patterns, and experiences.

• Manage ad-hoc requests from engineering and design teams to fully support the many use cases in our global suite of products.

• Design fully-specced components and patterns that focus on simplicity, accessibility and innovation.

• Participate in design reviews and share your work regularly with the design and company leadership.

• Understand the array of technical constraints and capabilities, user goals, and business requirements that shape our product experiences.

• Work with Engineering to ensure quality implementation and product launches

• Collaborate closely with designers across the team to develop and expand the product design system

• Meticulously QA all finished work with Engineering to ensure pixel-perfection in your work.

Qualifications:

• 6+ years of professional work experience in an individual contributor role on a Product Design team, with a focus on design systems.

• Proven expertise in creating and implementing design systems that enhance user experience

• An outstanding portfolio showcasing in-depth knowledge in user experience, interaction, visual/user interface design, and prototypes. Bonus for animation experience.

• Experience validating design decisions through user/usability research

• Proficient in industry-standard design tools such as Figma

• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex design decisions and rationale

• Previous experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with engineers and product designers, and product managers.
