About the role

As Sr Manager, Financial Partnerships, you are responsible for Rippling’s Global Card Program and Banking Product. You will drive, execute and manage strategic partnerships with banks, fintechs, card networks, and key payments providers to expand and optimize Rippling’s financial products.

This role requires expertise in financial product partnerships, particularly with card networks, card products, BIN sponsors and banking services. You will work closely with Product, Engineering, Risk, Finance, Legal and Compliance teams to scale and enhance Rippling’s offerings, and manage and expand our existing partnerships.

What you will do

  • Develop, execute and manage the strategic roadmap for partnerships for Rippling Spend, Corporate Card and Banking products. Cultivate and manage strong relationships with financial institutions, processors, BIN sponsors and card networks to align with Rippling’s product objectives.
  • Negotiate commercial deals, manage existing partnerships within card issuing, spend management, and banking services.
  • Oversee the global expansion of Rippling’s card program and banking product. Collaborate with internal teams to drive feature enhancements to support scalable growth.
  • Partner with product, engineering, operations teams to integrate partnership capabilities into the product development lifecycle. Ensure alignment across teams on technical and operational requirements.
  • Drive data collection and analysis to monitor key performance metrics, such as cost, transaction volumes, customer adoption, and partnership effectiveness. Prepare and present insights to stakeholders to guide strategy.
  • Manage the day-to-day relationship with our existing partners, manage reporting and compliance with the different programs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor strategies in financial partnerships, card issuance, and banking products. Use insights to recommend innovative solutions to enhance Rippling’s financial offerings.

What You’ll Need

  • 9+ years in financial partnerships, product management or finance functions, with a focus on card programs and/or banking services, ideally within fintech, payments, or financial services.
  • Proven experience managing partnerships with financial institutions, card networks, and payment providers. Strong understanding of card program management and ecosystem, including issuance, processing, banking services. Demonstrated ability to develop and execute partnership strategies.
  • Exceptional organizational skills. Great written and verbal communicator. Comfortable working in highly cross-functional environments. Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and modeling skills to interpret performance data and drive informed decision-making.
  • JD, MBA, or other advanced degrees a plus

This role will receive a competitive salary + benefits + equity. The salary for US-based employees will be aligned with one of the ranges below based on location; Tier 1 - San Francisco Bay Area/New York City Metro, Tier 2 - Austin, Texas.
