About the role
As our VP of Sales for Global Payroll, you will lead a team of Directors responsible for bringing our Global Products (EOR, Global Payroll, Global Payroll Contractors) to market in a fast paced, high growth organization. You’ll define the global payroll GTM motion, continue to scale a world-class sales organization, while partnering deeply with Product, Marketing, Legal, Compliance, Customer Experience, and RevOps.
What you will do
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Product, Marketing, RevOps, Compliance, Legal and Operations (IM, CS, Support) to shape and align the business on go-to-market strategy, outbound campaigns, and market segmentation across the globe
- Take an already (wildly) successful team to the next level by defining and executing on an 12 - 18 month vision that unlocks further global expansion and continues to improve on core business metrics
- Active involvement in annual and quarterly planning
- Manage, coach and scale a team of Sales Leaders
- Assist your team throughout their strategic sales cycles by deeply understanding customers needs and mapping them to the value
- Drive sales performance: activity, pipelines, monthly forecasts, and closed-deals to ensure quota attainment
- Regularly report on team and individual results through pipeline management and forecasting
- Identify and make recommendations for improvement in the areas of process, efficiency and productivity
What you will need
- Experience being a Global Sales Leader in net new logo sales space
- You are a process oriented problem solver who is used to working closely with product and operations
- You know what it feels like to build businesses from 0 and aren’t afraid to roll up your sleeves and lead from the front
- You have seen hyper-scale and know how to build a team that can support it
- Data oriented and used to ensuring the proper measurement are in place, tracked, and reported on to build a proactive sales motion
- High energy — we move fast at Rippling. We offer lots of support and collaboration, but also provide autonomy to make decisions and require an owner mindset
- Be decisive, make quick decisions, and get input from others but we put an emphasis on executing quickly. Don’t let perfect be the enemy of good

- Experience selling into high velocity orgs (deal cycles less than 6 months)
- Experience selling strategic deals with an ACV of 25k - $1M+
- Track record of success in similar roles at other SaaS companies who have experienced high growth and a fast moving environment
- Experience selling HRIS/HCM, payroll, or global payroll products preferred

This role will receive a competitive On-Target Earnings (base salary + sales commission) + benefits + equity. The On-Target Earnings* for employees will be 50/50 commission split for base/variable pay.
