About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the Role

Rippling is growing rapidly, and we’re looking for a high-potential Strategic Finance Analyst to help shape how we scale our go-to-market engine. This role sits at the intersection of finance, strategy, and operations, translating data into decisions that drive durable growth.

You will work directly with leaders across Sales, Marketing, and Finance to set targets, evaluate investments, and build the operating rigor required to run a complex, multi-product business. This is an opportunity to move beyond advisory work and develop as an operator: owning analyses, influencing resource allocation, and helping execute some of Rippling’s highest-impact initiatives.

We’re looking for someone early in their career who has demonstrated exceptional performance - academically and professionally - and is eager to apply that foundation in a fast-paced environment where the answers aren’t always obvious.

You’ll join a team of finance professionals with prior experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, and high-growth technology companies. This role will be based in our New York office.

What You Will Do

  • Translate company priorities into clear GTM targets, helping define how we deploy capital to drive efficient growth
  • Build and maintain operating models that inform executive decision-making and support forecasting with public-company rigor
  • Analyze pipeline, conversion, and unit economics to identify opportunities to improve GTM efficiency and ROI
  • Evaluate investment trade-offs, hiring decisions, and new initiatives through a financial and operational lens
  • Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Data teams during quarterly and annual planning
  • Help implement processes and reporting that allow Rippling to operate with increasing scale and discipline

What You Will Have

  • ~2 years of experience in investment banking, management consulting, or a similarly rigorous analytical role
  • Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills; ability to structure ambiguous problems and drive them to conclusion
  • Interest in understanding how B2B software businesses operate, including metrics such as pipeline generation, CAC payback, and growth efficiency
  • High ownership mindset - you don’t just analyze problems, you want to help solve them
  • Strong attention to detail paired with the ability to step back and think strategically
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment with evolving priorities
  • Experience with SQL, data tools, or visualization platforms is a plus but not required
