About Rippling

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. It brings together all of the workforce systems that are normally scattered across a company, like payroll, expenses, benefits, and computers. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

Take onboarding, for example. With Rippling, you can hire a new employee anywhere in the world and set up their payroll, corporate card, computer, benefits, and even third-party apps like Slack and Microsoft 365—all within 90 seconds.

Based in San Francisco, CA, Rippling has raised $1.4B+ from the world’s top investors—including Kleiner Perkins, Founders Fund, Sequoia, Greenoaks, and Bedrock—and was named one of America's best startup employers by Forbes.

We prioritize candidate safety. Please be aware that all official communication will only be sent from @Rippling.com addresses.

About the role

The Third Party Benefits Administration (“3rd Party BenAdmin”) Integration team sits within Benefits, one of Rippling’s largest and most strategic product categories. As a member of this team, you will ensure the seamless integration of clients’ payroll data with 3rd Party Benefits Administration platforms—enabling the automated exchange of payroll deductions and demographic information across systems and eliminating hours of manual work for our customers.

You will join the team at an exciting time as we scale our platform to support hundreds of customers integrating Rippling Payroll with a growing network of Benefits Administration partners.

Rippling is seeking an Operations Analyst to manage new 3rd Party BenAdmin integration setups, resolve process and system challenges as they arise, and partner cross-functionally to identify root causes and drive sustainable fixes. This role requires close collaboration with customers, vendors, and multiple internal teams, and plays a critical role in the success and scalability of Rippling’s Integrations platform.

What you will do

  • Drive 3rd Party Benefits Administration (BenAdmin) integrations forward, maintaining momentum and a strong customer experience throughout the implementation lifecycle (typically 4–6 weeks)
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, vendors, and brokers, providing clear, step-by-step guidance and proactive communication
  • Manage complex integration issues and escalations, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to drive timely resolution
  • Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, Account Management, and other internal teams to root cause issues and align on process improvements, automation, and scalable solutions
  • Identify process gaps and drive operational improvements to enhance the onboarding and integration experience
  • Develop and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures and new integration workflows
  • Own productivity metrics and ensure adherence to service-level agreements (SLAs)

What you will need

  • 3+ years of experience in payroll and/or benefits integrations, implementations, operations, or support roles
  • Strong customer-facing experience, with the ability to confidently engage customers, brokers, external partners, and internal teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and ownership when navigating ambiguous customer requests and complex escalations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple integrations simultaneously across varying timelines and stakeholders
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy, with the ability to identify discrepancies and potential issues proactively
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to timely, accurate resolution and high-quality outcomes
  • Experience partnering with technical teams (Product and Engineering) on system integrations and issue resolution
