Slash is looking for a Short-Form Video Editor who lives and breathes TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts. You’ll help us take our long-form entrepreneur interviews and product walkthroughs and cut them into highly engaging, high-performing short-form content.

This role is perfect for someone with an exceptional creative eye who can balance speed and polish. You’ll also assist with editing ad creatives and occasionally support product launches with video content.

What you’ll do

• Take long-form entrepreneur interviews and product walkthroughs and cut them into dynamic, highly shareable short-form content for TikTok, Instagram, and YouTube Shorts.

• Edit short-form ad content optimized for Meta, YouTube, and Google campaigns.

• Collaborate on product launches—occasionally supporting shoots and editing supporting videos.

• Deliver fast, high-quality edits with strong storytelling and engaging pacing.
  

Tools & skills

• Proficiency in DaVinci Resolve required (we use DaVinci Cloud Editing for collaboration).

• Ability to handle color grading, sound design, and all elements of post-production.

• Premiere Pro is acceptable but will be deprioritized.

• Strong portfolio of short-form edits showcasing creativity and attention to detail.

• You thrive in fast-paced environments and can iterate quickly on feedback.

Location

San Francisco is preferred (for office culture and ease of collaboration), but remote is possible for the right candidate.
