About the Role
We’re hiring a Receptionist to own the front desk experience and help keep our San Francisco office running smoothly day to day.
This is a highly visible, people-facing role. You’ll be the first impression of Slash for guests, candidates, and partners—setting the tone with a warm, polished, and high-energy presence. Beyond the front desk, you’ll play a key role in keeping the office organized, secure, and operating seamlessly behind the scenes.
You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across the company, stepping in wherever needed to support day-to-day operations and ensure a best-in-class in-office experience.
Location: San Francisco, in office M-F
You will:
Own the front desk experience and maintain a clean, organized, on-brand reception area
Greet and welcome guests, candidates, and partners with professionalism and warmth
Manage guest check-ins and office access to ensure a secure and seamless visitor experience
Coordinate conference room scheduling, meetings, and appointments across teams
Handle all incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries
Serve as the primary point of contact for front desk and office-related needs
Support teams across the company with ad hoc administrative tasks and operational requests
Help maintain the overall office environment, ensuring everything runs smoothly day to day
What We’re Looking For
1–3+ years of experience in a receptionist, office coordinator, or administrative role
Strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to make people feel welcome
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Clear and professional communication style
High ownership mindset and willingness to jump in wherever needed
Comfortable working in an in-person, collaborative office environment
Nice to Have
Experience in a startup or high-growth company
Familiarity with office management tools (e.g., Google Workspace, calendar systems)
Interest in fintech or technology
