About the Role

The role is a full-time employment opportunity. SmartHelio operates in European, Asian and American solar energy markets and currently engages with multiple projects with solar energy champions.

As a Sales Development Representative at SmartHelio, your primary goal will be to drive the initial stages of our sales process by identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential customers, contributing directly to the growth of our business and the adoption of sustainable energy solutions.

You will be working closely with the CEO, Business and Product teams in Switzerland and India.

Performance Objectives

1. Digital Marketing Strategy & Analytics: Develop and execute comprehensive digital
marketing strategies to increase website traffic, optimize conversion rates, and boost social
media engagement. Use data-driven insights and analytics to refine strategies and improve
performance across all platforms.
2. SEO Optimization: Lead SEO efforts, including keyword research, on-page and off-page
optimization, and SEO strategy to enhance organic visibility and rankings on search engines.
3. Social Media Management: Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of social media
platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.), engaging with the audience,
responding to inquiries, and cultivating a strong online community.
4. Content Creation & Design: Curate, design, and create high-quality marketing content
(social media posts, website content, emails, blogs) and digital creatives to align with
campaigns. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure design consistency and brand
alignment.
5. Email Marketing: Lead email marketing campaigns, including content creation, design, list
management, and optimization for open rates, click-through rates, and conversions.
6. Webinar & Event Management: Plan and organize webinars and other online events,
handling logistics and promoting through digital channels to engage prospects and
customers.
7. Content Strategy & Blogging: Oversee the creation of blog content, ensuring it is SEO
optimized and aligned with audience interests. Develop content strategies that engage and
inform while supporting SEO goals.
8. Sales Support: Work closely with the sales team to create marketing collateral (brochures,
white papers, videos, case studies) that supports lead generation, sales outreach, and client
presentations.
9. Travel to global exhibitions (Europe, America, Asia) to meet with partners and prospects,
along with the sales team.

What you bring

Education Background - A degree (bachelor’s accepted with relevant work experience, or master’s)
in Digital Marketing or Business.

Additional requirements are as follows -
1. 2-3 years of experience in Digital Marketing.
2. Relevant experience in marketing data analytics, SEO and content design creation.
3. Excellent knowledge of content building / Graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Canva,
Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Adobe Illustrator, etc.
4. Experience with analytical and tracking tools: Google Analytics, Google Ads, WordPress.
5. Proficiency in email marketing communications and CRM, with a preference for experience
with HubSpot.
6. Expert in verbal and written communication (English C2).

The role is presential and you will join our office in Lausanne, Switzerland.
