Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager
Job Description: The Senior Business Development Manager at Spectral will have a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and qualifying new strategic partnership opportunities that can accelerate the company's efforts to find product-market fit. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in business development, with experience in selling SaaS or open-source software.
They will be a strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative partnership strategies that advance the company's market penetration. The Senior Business Development Manager will research prospect partners' needs and be responsible for formalizing, scoping, and creating tangible plans for developing and expanding partnerships. Our ideal candidate for this role will have prior account management experience and be capable of working in a multi-disciplinary team.
Identify, evaluate, and qualify new strategic partnership opportunities that can help accelerate Spectral’s efforts to find product-market fit.
Develop and manage key external relationships, perform lead generation, and engage target partners across various channels including industry events and conferences.
Monitor and analyze key and emerging industry trends and developments across CeFI, DeFi, as well as the Blockchain Security and Analytics segments.
Forecast, measure, analyze, and report on partnership performance on a regular basis. Track discussions with partners through all stages of the life cycle and keep the relevant internal teams up to date with progress and timelines (using HubSpot).
Collaborate internally across Marketing, Product, and Engineering to drive customer needs and integrations forward, and support product integrations, partner launches, GTM planning, execution, and measurement.
Proven track record of success in business development, ideally in a technology or financial services company. Bonus: experience selling SaaS or open-source software.
5 years of experience managing key stakeholder relationships, with strong negotiation skills and executive presence.
You have stellar communication and presentation skills, and the ability to take highly technical concepts and distill information into actionable insights.
You are a strategic thinker with the ability to develop innovative partnership strategies, and the ability to monitor and analyze industry trends and developments.
You enjoy working collaboratively with other cross-functional teams.
You have outstanding organizational and prioritization skills and can manage multiple projects with tight deadlines effectively.
You have a genuine interest in blockchain and web3 technologies, or prior experience in DeFi or FinTech and are ideologically aligned with the vision of a permissionless risk infrastructure.
