We are looking for a Backend Developer to join our tech team. The candidate will play a key role in our journey to make a delightful and effortless investing experience. Stack offers the simplest portfolio-based investing experience and is highly rated by users.

What you’ll need:

• 2-5 years experience in backend development with hands on experience with Node.js

• Experience with distributed, cloud-based environments, particularly AWS; NoSQL Database, and MongoDB. Having hands-on experience with GoLang would be a plus

• Well-versed in implementing the TDD approach, a good understanding of system design methodologies are must

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and should be able to lead a team

• Zeal to lead projects end-to-end from initial strategy design to complete execution and ongoing improvement management

• Understanding of build, deployment, and A/B testing of products

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex technical environment

• Quick learner with an ambitious and results-driven personality
