We make it easy for local businesses to invoice their customers over WhatsApp. With Swipe, businesses can send a WhatsApp message with a link that allows their customers to pay instantly with a variety of payment methods. We are growing 10x year over year and with that growth we need your help in maintaining that growth.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of work experience and should have developed 1-2 apps that are currently available on the Play Store.

Qualifications

• 2+ years Experience building Android Apps
• 1-2 Apps you have built should be on Play Store
• Expertise with KOTLIN, XML
• Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services
• Experience with Firebase is a plus (FCM, analytics)
• Understanding of Android’s design principles and interface guidelines
  
  

Roles & Responsibilities

• Working closely with founders to develop and maintain the app and build out product features at a rapid pace.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Contribute to product development by pitching in with ideas and doing proof-of-concepts.
