The Role

Do you excel at Excel? Taekus is looking for a Financial Operations Manager to join our fast-growing fintech company. The role reports to the CEO and helps oversee operations in various aspects including business operations, payments operations, customer service, and more. This job is for you if you are a process-focused individual that can prioritize, own, and execute initiatives alongside multiple senior leaders with little guidance. Strong communication skills are a must.

Your Responsibilities

Manage Taekus’s accounts payable/receivables. This would involve overseeing and coordinating the processes related to the payment and collection of Taekus's financial obligations. It includes ensuring timely and accurate recording of payments, monitoring outstanding invoices, and coordinating with vendors and internal teams to address any issues or discrepancies.
Review and reconcile Taekus's bills with vendors as necessary: In this role, you will be responsible for thoroughly examining and verifying the accuracy of the bills received by Taekus from its vendors. This includes comparing invoices to purchase orders, contracts, and other relevant documents, identifying any discrepancies or errors, and working with vendors to resolve issues or discrepancies.
Build financial projections for Taekus: As part of your responsibilities, you will be involved in developing forecasts and projections for Taekus's financial performance. This entails analyzing historical financial data, market trends, and other factors to create comprehensive financial models that help predict future revenue, expenses, and profitability. These projections play a crucial role in strategic decision-making and planning for the company's growth.
Monitor customer transactions and margins: You will be tasked with closely monitoring and analyzing customer transactions to ensure accuracy, identify any anomalies or irregularities, and maintain healthy profit margins for Taekus. This involves tracking sales, analyzing pricing structures, monitoring any promotions that Taekus may run, and identifying areas for improvement or optimization to maximize profitability.
Assist executive leadership with decision-making, program management, and initiative implementation

What you bring to the table

1+ yrs of experience, maybe in investment banking
Godlike Excel and financial modeling skills
The versatility to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment
Ability to navigate ambiguousness and a passion for delivering great experiences to customers.
Experience in revenue operations and budget management
Experience with data analysis
Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
Demonstrated project management skills and excellent verbal/written communication skills
Strong EQ with the ability to adapt to different communication styles - this role will be highly focused on building, maintaining, and nurturing relationships across both executives and investors
