About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager on a small but growing product team, you will drive product innovation from inception to execution and iteration for some of the highest impact initiatives in the booming InsurTech industry.
Your fingerprints will be all over our state-of-the-art web app and API used by our clients to manage their insurance programs. Your work will, in turn, benefit our end consumers in a uniquely varied range of industries (shipping, vacation rental, HR and future of work, vehicle rental, web3 security, etc).
You will work directly with customers as well as the founding team and will be involved in the early stages of the startup development and establishing the product culture and team at Tint. You will have a lot of ownership and drive ambiguous initiatives from 0 to 1.
You are a general athlete and are not afraid to dive deep in topics new to you in order to ship impactful products using any method necessary including user research and partnering with internal and external teams.
What you'll do at Tint (Core Responsibilities)
- Solution Design & Onboarding: reduce time to value, from when a customer signs up to when they are live selling protection via Tint to end consumers. This includes designing the protection program, figuring out whether to offer multiple options or a single plan, the right pricing, how to transfer risk to insurers or other capacity providers, all with an intuitive interface.
- Performance: customers need visibility on their insurance program's growth. Make it simple for them to understand which levers they have to increase revenue and profitability. Make those levers actionable with the relevant product features.
- Payments: bill and move money seamlessly between all parties of the Tint ecosystem: insurers, claimants, customers, end users.
- Claims Handling: Provide fast, reliable and seamless loss indemnification experience for our customer's end users.
What we look for (Requirements)
- 5+ years experience as a PM across the end-to-end product development process, including ideation, prioritization, requirements gathering, integrating customer feedback, design, development, launch, and GTM (Go-to-Market)
- Experience using consumer insights, analytics, and other market research in a growing industry to understand consumer needs, pain points, and behaviors
- Comfortable working in an agile environment with senior leadership, designers, engineers, and data analysts to ship products
- Have worked at a successful startup owning 0-to-1 product launches as well as products at scale
- Ability to quickly zoom out and see the bigger strategic picture, as well as a willingness to zoom in and roll up your sleeves to get the nitty-gritty of product definition and corner cases
- An ability to deep-dive into complex technical concepts coupled with an ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precise articulations of customer problems
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate teams, manage stakeholders, and work cross-functionally in a
Bonus Points if You Have
- Experience with ML/AI technologies
- Experience with embedded programs in Fintech or Insurtech
- Had hands-on roles in underwriting, actuarial science at insurance players before turning to Product Management
- Experience working on APIs, Saas, and/or Enterprise products
- Business background (MBA, CFA, Insurance)
- SQL proficiency

Location
This role is fully remote, however the ideal candidate is preferably in European or EST time zones.

The goal of Tint’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees, and encourage Team Members to stay with our organization.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
The base salary range for this position in the United States is $125,000 - $190,000. The total compensation package for this position includes an equity package as well as the benefits listed above.
