Key Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop detailed project plans, including scope, timeline, resources, and budget. Define project deliverables and milestones.
  • Execution: Lead project execution, coordinating tasks, managing resources, and ensuring project deliverables meet quality standards.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, addressing issues proactively to ensure project success.
  • Resource Management: Allocate and manage resources, including team members and budgets, to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including plans, status reports, and post-project reviews.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that IT solutions are delivered according to specifications and meet the company’s quality standards.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT project management, with a proven track record of delivering complex IT projects successfully.
  • Project Management Skills: Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and experience applying them in practice.
  • Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development processes.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage stakeholders and project teams.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant project management certifications (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) are required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Master’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT project management, with experience managing large-scale IT projects or programs.
  • Advanced Skills: Expertise in advanced project management tools and techniques, including Agile and Scrum methodologies.
  • Technical Expertise: In-depth knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies.
  • Certifications: Advanced certifications in project management (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)).
  • Industry Experience: Experience in aerospace or technology sectors, particularly with applications related to space exploration or satellite systems.
ITAR Requirements:
  • This position may include access to technology and/or software source code that is subject to U.S. export controls. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
