Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain detailed program schedules using project management tools, tracking critical path activities and ensuring alignment with program milestones and deliverables
- Manage the master program calendar, proactively identifying and resolving scheduling conflicts across teams and activities
- Coordinate all program-related meetings including stand-ups, technical reviews, and design sessions; prepare agendas, capture minutes, and track action items to completion
- Monitor program metrics and compile data for status reports, maintaining schedule visibility through regular updates and Gantt charts
- Identify potential schedule risks and dependencies, promptly escalating issues to Program Managers
- Coordinate resource scheduling across departments to ensure appropriate staffing for program activities
- Arrange logistics for supplier and customer meetings, including travel arrangements when necessary
- Support technical reviews, design reviews, and testing activities with engineering teams
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in technical discipline (e.g., computer science, mechanical engineering, aeronautics, or similar).
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a coordination role, preferably in a technical environment.
- Technical Skills: Solid understanding of technical concepts and experience managing projects in software development, IT systems, or engineering.
- Project Management Skills: Basic understanding of project management principles. Familiarity with project management tools and software.
- Misc. Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Must be able to obtain a Secret and/or a TS/SCI clearance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the aerospace or defense industry
- Understanding of technical documentation and engineering processes
- Knowledge of scheduling and resource allocation techniques
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., Jira, MS Project).
