About the job

As the Project Manager for New Home Onboarding, you will be responsible for managing the home setup process to be on-time and on budget. You will be responsible for sourcing personnel to complete the appropriate tasks, collaborating with procurement on change orders, and controlling and communicating the budget effectively. This means you will spend a good deal of time in the field to see your projects get completed properly, across multiple geographically dispersed locations.

  • One on One mentorship

  • Meet operational objectives of: Sales, Marketing, & Brand Experience

  • Lead and develop a team with a diverse skillset

  • Track metrics during against both projects and individual tasks

  • Confirm budget and work orders before start of project

  • Document job progress and change orders

  • Ensure compliance with standards and regulations

  • Build relationships with key partners, suppliers, and contractors

  • Seek partnerships to improve performance with vendors and tradesman

  • Manage several projects simultaneously

Required Qualifications:

  • Background in Home operations, Home Setup, and light construction

  • Self-directed and motivated with a strong sense of personal ownership and accountability.

  • Strong Project Management skills combined with leading and motivating team members to stay on schedule

  • Comfortability sourcing and managing subcontractors to keep them on time and on budget.

  • Ability to create presentation materials, generate proposals, and follow through to closing home owners

  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and organizational skills.

  • Team player with a positive attitude and a strong work ethic

  • Interested in long-term employment and career development at a growing company with a tight-knit culture

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Confident & resourceful, strategic thinker & collaborative problem solver

  • Experience working with product and engineering organizations to help roadmap new feature developments based on owner needs

  • Prior experience with in the Short Term Rental industry 

  • Strong communications skills, both written and verbal
