What you will do:

  • Create a fantastic first impression to generate interest in Watershed via lead research & outreach
  • Educate prospects about Watershed’s differentiated value proposition via direct outreach
  • Use prospecting tools to research companies, learn about their workflows, and identify key decision makers at new accounts
  • Work directly with your territory Sales Executive to develop customized pitches for target accounts & personas to generate pipeline
  • Research, qualify, & nurture leads to create opportunities, & schedule demos
  • Contribute to revenue generation and the company’s growth trajectory
  • Talk to scientists; learn about what they like about our product offering and what questions or objections they might have

What we are looking for:

  • 1-3 yrs experience in sales role (SDR, BDR, Sales Associate) in a SaaS and/or life sciences company
  • Bachelor’s in life science discipline
    (e.g. molecular biology, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, bioinformatics, neuroscience)
  • Persistent, self-motivated, and dedicated to meet & exceed goals
  • Strong verbal & written communication skills
  • Team player with emotional intelligence
  • Eager to learn, grow, and contribute to an innovative, high-growth organization

Nice to haves:

  • Bench experience in an academic or industry setting and/or graduate degree in life science discipline
  • You have worked for an early-stage company before
