We currently handle over $180M+ in yearly payments with thousands of active merchants. To further our important mission of helping everyone start internet businesses, we are looking for a Sr Mobile dev to create an MVP of our mobile app.

About the role:

Title: Sr Mobile dev (React Native)

✅ $150k - 200k Base Salary | 0.1% / 120k Equity Package with four year vest
❤️ Unlimited PTO, Health, Vision, and Dental coverage
📍 Brooklyn, NY You’ll be working in our beautiful office building in front of Domino park, facing the East river.
🥙 Daily $20 lunch, $25 dinner Uber credits

As our Sr Mobile developer you will be reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer. You will have the primary responsibility of driving the development of our mobile application.

Who you are:

You identify as a passionate mobile developer, you care about shipping excellent products.
You possess the ability to multitask, successfully manage projects, and have a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
You are at ease in uncertain situations, capable of leveraging data to independently identify and undertake the next necessary actions when solutions aren't readily apparent.

What you will do:

Collaborate closely with our Chief Executive Officer (CEO), assuming responsibility for developing and deploying the MVP of our mobile application.
Create a React Native mobile app where Whop users will be able to manage purchases, reach web experiences, and receive notifications for their purchases.

Qualifications:

Extensive experience with React Native, you will be trusted to be our mobile expert.
Extensive experience with DevOps and CI/CD for React Native apps specifically and deploying mobile Apps to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Self-motivated, able to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent communication is required as you’ll you be managing up and driving updates on the mobile app
