About the role:

Rain AI is seeking mid-senior level best-in-class SoC Design Verification Engineer to verify it's world's most cost and energy efficient hardware for AI. We are looking for individuals with experience in Design Verification to build IP and SoC for various AI applications. As a design verification engineer you will be part of a dynamic team working with the best in the industry. The role also provides ample opportunities to collaborate closely with design, software, emulation and post silicon teams towards creating a successful first-pass silicon.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the system-architecture and microarchitecture of the chip to build scalable verification environments

  • Hands-on experience on RISC-V based SoC's

  • Create a verification plan from the design architecture specification

  • Hands-on experience on system verilog, UVM at IP, subsystem and full chip level

  • Low-level programming experience including C and assembler

  • Testbench development from scratch and make it more scalable

  • Create functional coverage models for functional coverage

  • Comfortable in writing constraints for randomization

  • Experience in Python or other scripting languages

  • Automate the verification flow and be comfortable in triaging the regressions results

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering

  • 8+ years of experience with design verification and testbench development

  • Excellent problem solving skills and coding skills

  • Experience with working on VCS, verdi tools

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Track record of taking silicon to production
